The rumor mill is painstakingly working it's way through all the possibilities with regard to Miroslav Klose's next club. The suggestion he might head to Australia to play a little A-League with Tim Cahill has been made and rejected. He's not going to Legia Warsaw. Nor Deportivo La Coruna. Nor 1860 Munich. Nor Napoli.
A report in Kicker quotes Klose's agent crushing the rumor that his client might be snapped up by Napoli as cover for the injured Arkadiusz Milik:
There is no request
Back to square one: no one seems to have any idea where Klose will head next.
The story that he has already committed to an unnamed club in MLS has yet to be refuted, of course. Nor has there been any particular effort to dispel the rumor that he has eyes on a move to China.
What is certain is that the rumor mill abhors a vacuum, and there is an empty space right now where there should be an active Miroslav Klose transfer rumor. Expect that to be filled shortly.
