Chris Gloster has been the New York Red Bulls Academy's only regular call-up to the USA U-17 Men's National Team roster for a while now, and that pattern seems set to continue. He has been named to U-17s head coach John Hackworth's Fall Residency roster, per a release from US Soccer.
This cohort is working its way toward the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Men's Championship, which will also be the qualifying tournament for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The CONCACAF tournament starts in April, but Hackworth is keeping his squad busy. US Soccer has also announced two friendlies for the U-17 MNT, both against Costa Rica in Florida, on October 22 and 24.
Further, the Jamaica Football Federation has announced its U-17 Men's squad will play the USA in Jamaica on November 2 and 8. And there will also be a match against a local Jamaican side on November 4.
Chris Gloster has a busy Fall ahead of him.
