Bulls Abroad: Chris Gloster starts in USA U-17s loss to Panama

Not the result the USA wanted, but the experience of Panama will be useful next year.

The USA U-17 Men's National Team has enjoyed an encouraging series of games against regional opposition over the last couple of weeks. Two big wins over Guatemala in Florida were followed by a 3-1 win over Panama in Panama. Starting all three of those matches: New York Red Bulls Academy player Chris Gloster - the youngest American ever to play in USL and a full back of some promise.

Gloster got his fourth start in this Fall series of friendlies on October 1 in the U-17s' second game against Panama in Panama.

The home team claimed the victory this time around.

The U-17s are preparing for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, which will be held in Panama in April. Next up, there will be a USA U-17 selection in action on October 8 in St. Louis, playing a St. Louis FC U-18 team at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.
