Red Bull Rant 206: Winners and Losers

MLS: New York Red Bulls at Philadelphia Union Derik Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Red Bulls are off to the playoffs, and they are off there with a two to nothing goal win over the Philadelphia Union in their final match.

Oh, the Baby Bulls also took care of business against Swope Park Rangers in the USL Cup Finals with a major 5-0 victory. Brandon Allen was a tour de force as he also took home the USL Cup MVP Honors.

The MLS side though can’t bask in the success of the youngsters though, they have a series coming up as they travel north of the border to take on the Montreal Impact who may or may not have the services of Didier Drogba.

Can the Red Bulls demonstrate what made them the top of the East? Can they make an impact as they go into the Eastern Conference Finals?
