Derrick Etienne is a leader of men

RBNY's Etienne has just finished his rookie season as a pro, but he's already influencing the next generation of Red Bulls Academy prospects.

...and he has pinned a clip featuring the "hotline" celebration to the top of his timeline.

Meanwhile, in the Red Bulls Academy, Omir Fernandez is having a startlingly successful season with the U17/18s: 13 goals in 13 games to date. He scored one for the Academy team against FC Dallas in the ongoing US Soccer Development Academy Winter Showcase (the match finished 1-1):

And his celebration looked familiar.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but Derrick Etienne wants to see RBNY's up-and-comers devote themselves to their craft:
