Report: Anatole Abang called up for Cameroonian National Team

The young forward looks to make his first appearance for the senior national team.

BBC reports that new Cameroonian National Team coach has called in 28 players for his first squad as head coach, including 19 year-old, Red Bulls forward, Anatole Abang.

After previously featuring for his home country's under-17 and under-20 teams, Abang appears to be on his way towards earning his first senior cap. The young striker has served as Bradley Wright-Phillips' main backup over the last year, scoring 6 goals in 21 games for New York's first team.

Also called up to the Indomitable Lions March 26th World Cup Qualifier are former New York Red Bulls players, Tony Tchani and Ambroise Oyongo.
