Coming off a tough loss at their home opener on Saturday, Sky Blue FC heads to Houston for a Friday night game at BBVA Compass Stadium against the Dash. Kick-off is at 8:30 PM EST. Both clubs are coming into this match with three points and this is the first meeting of the two clubs this season. Their last meeting, also on a Friday night at BBVA Compass Stadium, left Sky Blue FC with a 2-0 win.

The Dash are also coming off a loss against the Orlando Pride (3-1). It will be interesting to see how both clubs recover from their losses, as a win for either would give the winning club a momentum that could help them along early in the season.

Sky Blue FC's predicted starting XI starts off with Caroline Casey in goal, as she has been the past two games, and has shown a remarkable performance in both games. Midfielders are likely to be Taylor Lytle, who has assisted in goals in both games so far this season, Sarah Killion, Raquel Rodriguez, and Kelly Conheeney. Defenders predicted are Kelley O'Hara, Erica Skroski, Erin Simon, and Captain Christie Rampone. Predicted Forwards are Maya Hayes, who scored the only goal in the home opener with an assist from Taylor Lytle, and Tasha Kai.

CoCo Goodson is on the injured list this game for a left hamstring strain, and Danielle Schulmann is on the probable injured list for the same reason. Sam Kerr is on the injured list this game as well, as she had off season surgery on her left foot.

Melissa Henderson and Carli Lloyd are both out this game for the Dash, as both are recovering from a sprained MCL in their right knee. Cari Roccaro may also be sitting this game out, as she has a torn labrum in her right hip. Morgan Brian will likely be sitting the game out due to a sprained right hamstring. It will be interesting to see how these injuries impact the Dash.

Be sure to catch all the action on the NWSL YouTube channel, Friday night, starting at 8:30 PM EST.
