Bulls Abroad: Noah Powder called to Trinidad and Tobago Men's U-20 Provisional squad (again)

The T&T U-20s are hoping to get to South Korea and the U-20 World Cup in 2017. And they would like Noah Powder's assistance.

Trinidad and Tobago is preparing methodically for CONCACAF's qualifying tournament for the 2017 U-20 World Cup. Last month, a 33-man provisional squad was named in advance of a training camp; now head coach Brian Williams has named a 30-man provisional roster for the team's first games of the U-20 World Cup qualifying cycle.

The list will be further trimmed to 25 before T&T kicks off the Group Stage of CONCACAF qualifying in June.

In April, T&T named two players in the New York Red Bulls Academy as part of its provisional U-20 squad: Anthony Herbert and Noah Powder.

This month, Herbert has been culled from the list, but Noah Powder is still on the roster. Also named is Stony Brook University freshman Jarred Dass.

The Trinidad and Tobago Men's U-20 national team will play Guadeloupe, St. Lucia, and Turks and Caicos in the first stage of Caribbean zone qualifying for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, itself a qualifying tournament for the 2017 U-20 World Cup.

If selected, Powder - a regular for NYRB II so far this season - will be in action for his country between June 15 and 19.
