Former New York Red Bull Homegrown, Amando Moreno, called into USMNT
Amando Moreno, a Perth Amboy native and former RBNY homegrown player, was called into the most recent US Men's National Team camp before its game on May 22nd versus Puerto Rico. The 20 year-old striker currently plays for Club Tijuana in Mexico, having left the New York Red Bulls three years ago after just one season. The youth national team forward has played 20 games for Tijuana over the last three years, having become frustrated with a lack of playing time in New York at age 17, where he spent the season on the bench behind Thierry Henry, Fabian Espindola, and recent signing Bradley Wright-Phillips. Matt Miazga and Tim Ream also feature on the roster.
