New York Red Bulls Lineup Prediction: vs. Toronto FC, May 28, 2016

Will Duvall be fit to start?

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

This week, the New York Red Bulls' big lineup questions are on the back line.

Kemar Lawrence's national team duty should see Jesse Marsch persist with Connor Lade and Sal Zizzo as his starting full backs - though both players have been playing well and would likely start this game regardless of the availability of other candidates for their respective positions.

At center back, Jesse Marsch is thought to once again be dealing with options limited by injury - to Chris Duvall, in this case. This column chooses to believe doubts over Duvall's fitness will have lifted by kick-off, and RBNY will take the field against Toronto FC with the same back line as started last week's epic triumph over NYCFC. But Gideon Baah's return to the starting lineup would not be a surprise. (Or Ronald Zubar's, for that matter.)

Up front, there is no reason to anticipate any lineup changes - which seems the perfect opportunity for Marsch to spring a surprise. Perhaps this is the week the head coach has another look at what Gonzalo Veron can bring to the starting XI.
