The Copa America Centenario begins with the United States Men's National Team facing Colombia in Group A action, on Friday June 3rd.
This match should be very difficult for the U.S. as Colombia has several elite attackers including James Rodriguez, Juan Cuadrado, and Carlos Bacca.
While Colombia is an excellent attacking side, its defense is vulnerable. Colombia has a 3-1-1 record in its last five matches with those three wins coming in the team's only three matches of 2016.
The USMNT is also in good form with a 4-1 record in its last five games. Historically, the U.S. has struggled against Colombia with a 3-11-3 all-time record.
Both teams will expect to advance to the quarterfinals and securing a win in the opening match would greatly increase either team's odds of making the knockout stages. Colombia is expected to win, but the U.S. should have strong support from the 68,500 fans at Levi's Stadium.
