For those who might reasonably have started to think otherwise, today brought encouraging confirmation that the New York Red Bulls are capable of good news on the subject of the fitness and availability of their players.
The doubts over Bradley Wright-Phillips' health have been cleared up:

In further good news, it would appear doubts over Omer Damari's visa status have also been settled:
Jesse Marsch stated that, if needed, Omer Damari could go 45 minutes tomorrow night. #RBNY #NYvMTL

And, of course, the team has Gonzalo Veron fresh off his best back-to-back performances for RBNY to date. It can also be assumed Anatole Abang and Brandon Allen - likely to be starting for NYRB II against Orlando City B - are still eligible to play for the first team if required.
The defense may be banged up, but the Red Bulls' forward line seems to be in good shape for the pending arrival of Montreal Impact.
