The closing of the summer transfer window around (most of) the world brings closure to many transfer rumors. Of those of interest to Once A Metro, we saw two former New York Red Bulls homegrown players find new clubs: Matt Miazga - a star of the 2015 Supporters' Shield winning squad - is now on loan to Vitesse Arnhem from Chelsea; Mael Corboz - in and out of the RBNY squad in one off-season - was signed by MSV Duisburg.
And a couple of rumored RBNY targets also landed in new surroundings. Mario Balotelli is now at Nice. And Oscar Cardozo (remember when he was linked to the Red Bulls?) has received a hero's welcome at Olympiacos.
