The New York Red Bulls exiled on-loan forward Anatole Abang made his debut for Hobro IK in a Danish First Division (that's the second tier of Danish soccer) match-up with league-leading Nykobing on September 11.

It is the first match for which Abang has been available for selection, since he arrived at Hobro shortly before being required to join his national team, Cameroon.
Hobro won the match, 1-0, thanks to a late winner from top-scorer Anders Holvad. The forward entered the game, as it happens, for Abang.

The result leaves Hobro third in the table, occupying a promotion playoff spot. The team is next in action on September 18, when it will face Fremad Amager.
