Report: New York Red Bulls trade Dax McCarty to Chicago Fire

Days after they had to swat away the rumor they had lost their head coach to Salzburg and sporting director to...it was never really explained why Ali Curtis was getting swept away, the New York Red Bulls have a new story to address.

FourFourTwo's Paul Tenorio, as well-sourced as any reporter on the MLS beat, is advising that RBNY has traded captain Dax McCarty to the Chicago Fire. For $400,000 in allocation money to be paid over two seasons.
