BWP is safe, but who might leave for tinsel towns new MLS club
Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

The MLS Season has finally come to an end as Toronto FC has finally won the MLS Cup defeating the Seatle Sounders on the second try. Now they need to find a way to see who they will keep and who they will leave unprotected as the Expansion draft for the newest side will be playing next season.

The Red Bulls will be facing another brand new club as Los Angeles FC will be joining the league as an expansion side as the 2018 season will once again begin in March. Head Coach Bob Bradley who returns to MLS will build another club from scratch since he started the Chicago Fire back in 1998.

Back in 1998 Bradley’s Chicago Fire was the second club to win the Double as they defeated DC United in the MLS Cup Final and the Columbus Crew in the US Open Cup Final, so if he does pull off that miracle again, it would be an interesting feat.

But for the Red Bulls there could be someone they take a chance on losing on their unprotected list, so here are both lists on the players who they will keep and who they will risk if they get picked by Bob Bradley.

PROTECTED LIST:

GK: Ryan Meara, Luis Robles
DEF: Fidel Escobar, Kemar Lawrence, Aaron Long, Michael Amir Murillo
