The Red Bulls continue to look at their USL roster and decide who they feel good in bringing over some of their top talent to MLS. Well one of those players who came towards the back end of the 2017 season was finally re-signed by the club.
Vincent Bezecourt who was apart of the 2016 USL Cup Champions Red Bulls Two has been brought back with a brand new MLS Contrct and we shall see what will happen when he gets those opportunities on the pitch.
"We are happy to have reached a new agreement with Vince," said Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett. "As with the other players that have been promoted to the First Team, Vince has worked hard and earned his place. As I said when we promoted him in August, Vince impressed us with his skill and work ethic. We were pleased with how he handled himself over the second half of the year and look forward to him continuing his growth as a player."
Nothing beats that play when the Red Bulls won the final game at RFK Stadium against DC United, as Bezecourt’s Back heel flick started the play that ended with Gonzalo Veron finishing it for the comeback win. Also he was working very well with his fellow Frenchman on the USL side in Florian Valot who was also signed by the club to start the new season this coming March of 2018.
"Vince finished the year so strong," said Red Bulls Head Coach Jesse Marsch. "He has had some good years with the USL team and we know that we can count on Vince like we did by playing him in the playoffs and starting him in MLS matches a few times towards the end of the year. It will be important for him to build on that experience and take the next steps to establish himself with the team."
Once again it is always a positive to see the young players within the academy as well as the players who perform during the USL season to improve their standing and the possible future of these prospects to make the jump to the MLS Bulls roster.
To join the likes of Luis Robles, Felipe, Daniel Royer and Bradley Wright-Phillips must be an absolute joy to join these veterans as they will once again start a quest to reach an MLS Cup Final or a US Open Cup Final again and hopefully lift some silverware.
