Sky Blue FC announced on Saturday that the club has waived goalkeeper Caroline Stanley from its roster.
Stanley started 11 matches for the New Jersey squad in 2016 after being signed as a free agent prior to the start of preseason. She recorded 940 minutes in net, making 33 saves and earning 3 shutouts while finishing the year with an overall record of 2-4-4.
Prior to Sky Blue FC, the 23 year-old was a member of Seattle Reign FC during the 2015 season. While there, she appeared in one match, earning the start and playing a total of 90 minutes.
Before the National Women’s Soccer League, Stanley played three years at the University of Southern California after spending her freshman season at the University of Missouri. While at USC, the Missouri native started 55 times over 58 appearances, recording 10 clean sheets and making 245 saves.
On the international level, Stanley represented the U.S. Youth Women’s National Team at the U-15, U-17, U-18 and U-20 levels.
