Red Bull Rant 215: Seattle Soundwaves

At least they didn’t get shutout.

MLS: New York Red Bulls at Seattle Sounders FC Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

Well, so much for the undefeated start. The 3-1 loss to the Seattle Sounders was not so great, but at least it’s early in the season. The New York Red Bulls at least get to experience some home cooking when they host a Real Salt Lake team that fired their head coach three weeks into the season. Can they take advantage of the turmoil? Or will international departures be too much to overcome? Meanwhile, will Sacha Kljestan help the United States Men’s Team get out of the hole they are in for World Cup Qualifying, or will the Bruce Arena era be short lived?
