How to watch New York Red Bulls vs Real Salt Lake in MLS 2017, Week 4: start time, TV schedule, and online

RBNY is back home, hoping to quickly get back to winning ways after last week's slump in Seattle.

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Real Salt Lake has blown hot and cold since Jeff Cassar took over as head coach from Jason Kreis at the end of 2013. A slow start to 2017 cost Cassar his job, and RSL heads into its fourth game of the new season looking for its first win. Daryl Shore is on the sidelines for Salt Lake for now, and will seek to start the team's bounce-back to form.

The New York Red Bulls were brought back down to earth with a 3-1 loss in Seattle in Week 3, after starting MLS 2017 with back-to-back wins. RSL will be the third outing in a row against a team from the Western Conference for RBNY - and the Red Bulls will continue that run next week with a trip to Houston Dynamo.

This game is being played during a FIFA window for international matches, which sees both teams deprived of key players (most notably, USA national teamers Nick Rimando and Sacha Kljestan) and both sides have a stack of injury issues that have further reduced their options.

RSL certainly has much to prove after a stumbling start to 2017, and RBNY's squad depth is being sorely tested, but the home team is the favorite to win this one - and Jesse Marsch will be expected to guide his side past a demoralized and depleted Salt Lake.
