In the week since its last match, SJK added two players to the squad: Erfan Zeneli and Obed Malolo. Zeneli was immediately thrown into the starting lineup against Ilves, and got SJK a second-half equalizer after it had fallen behind in the first half.

Abang was subbed in for SJK's in-form goal-scorer Billy Ions with about 20 minutes to play. He had a late chance to salvage a point for his team, but it didn't quite work out for him.
