Tune in for the New York Red Bulls Academy U-16-17 team's concluding game of the 2017 Generation Adidas Cup. The tournament has seen RBNY forward Ben Mines advance his case as a top prospect in the club's development system, as well as a memorable goal from John Murphy.

Third place at the tournament is on the line against Ecuador's Independiente del Valle.
Opportunities to see the RBNY Academy teams in action are rare, and it is best not to draw too many conclusions from youth soccer tournaments that are, at best, a snap-shot of the progress of any prospect. But Ben Mines has already made NYRB II appearances this season (and last), and might not be the only player from this cohort at the Academy to get a chance to play in USL this year. So take a sneak peek at RBNY's emerging generation, and maybe spot a few players who will be turning pro as Red Bulls in due course.
