Third place at the tournament is on the line against Ecuador's Independiente del Valle.

Opportunities to see the RBNY Academy teams in action are rare, and it is best not to draw too many conclusions from youth soccer tournaments that are, at best, a snap-shot of the progress of any prospect. But Ben Mines has already made NYRB II appearances this season (and last), and might not be the only player from this cohort at the Academy to get a chance to play in USL this year.
