Back again to discuss American Soccer here on Once a Metro. This show will of course include my thoughts on the New York Red Bulls’ loss to the Houston Dynamo. Officiating issues notwithstanding, give head coach Wilmer Cabrera a lot of credit for improving the Dynamo.
Also, there will be discussion of Bastian Schweinsteiger’s MLS debut against the Montreal Impact, which included his first goal for Chicago Fire.
Sticking with MLS, there will also be some attention given to Minnesota United FC’s first win in the league. After a very rough start to life in MLS, the Loons have finally found three points and we’ll hear from Jeff Rueter about the mood up north.
The second division segment will be a little different: for this season, at least, it involves juggling both NASL and USL - but Feuerstein’s Fire remains dedicated to covering the second tier of US Soccer no matter what the name of the league or leagues.
So get ready for the 321st episode of the Feuerstein’s Fire American Soccer Show. Tune in at 8:00 pm, Eastern - Monday, April 3. Or catch the archived show at your convenience.
GUILLERMO RIVERA: From the Fire Confidential site on the signing of Bastian Schweinstiger
