Report: Jesse Marsch backs Aurelien Collin, Connor Lade, and Fredrik Gulbrandsen to play against Orlando City

You might think RBNY has a quietly growing injury list, but Jesse Marsch disagrees.

The latest report out of New York Red Bulls' training carries somewhat conflicting news. Reporting for MSG, Kristian Dyer advises that Aurelien Collin and Connor Lade were not in training on Wednesday, April 5, but Jesse Marsch remains optimistic about their chances of making the squad for RBNY's game against Orlando City on Sunday, April 9.

"I think they’ll all be available," Marsch told MSG. "We’ll just have to now think about overall minutes and cautiousness of where they’re at physically but I think all three will be available from the start."

"All three" includes Fredrik Gulbrandsen, who was held out of the Red Bulls' last game against Houston Dynamo in what was described as a precautionary measure. Dyer reports Gulbrandsen was in mid-week training, which is a more orthodox sign of a player's likely availability for the weekend.

Media will next catch up with RBNY on Friday, April 7, when Marsch's updates on player fitness and availability will carry a little more significance.
