The U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) will finish its two-game set against Russia on April 9 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston (2 p.m. ET; ESPN). The Americans are coming off a 4-0 victory against Russia in Frisco, Texas, where Crystal Dunn and Allie Long lead the charge with a brace each. Sky Blue FC’s Kelley O’Hara got the starting nod and played for 68 minutes before being replaced by Megan Oyster.
This marks the final USWNT friendly before the fifth National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season kicks off on April 15, while Russia is preparing for the upcoming UEFA Women’s Euro this summer.
The win on Thursday, April 6 snapped a two-game scoreless streak for the Americans after losing 1-0 to England and 3-0 to France during the SheBelieves Cup.
U.S. head coach Jill Ellis will name 18 players to suit up for the match, selecting from the 24-player training camp roster.
