US Open Cup Fever is getting bigger and bigger and bigger, because tonight will not be a regular show, this is all US Open Cup talk as we go from the elite eight to the final four, but sadly one match never got off the ground.

Torrential rain as well with Thunder and Lightning struck the Miami area and the match between Miami FC of the NASL & FC Cincinnati of the USL never got off the ground. So August 2nd will be the make up date and the winner will host the New York Red Bulls.

But the other matches were played and they were exciting and fun to watch as the San Jose Earthquakes played against the Los Angeles Galaxy and defeated them 3-2 while Chris Wondolowski represented #38 instead of his usual #8 for his teammate Matheus Silva who was hurt badly in a swimming accident while on loan with Reno 1868 FC in the USL

Also a big extra time victory for Sporting KC dethroning the defending US Open Cup Champions FC Dallas as we saw cards being dealt all over place including a couple of red cards and thankfully Ike Opara was o.k. after being accidentally getting bicycle kicked in the head by Maxi Urruti.

But this should be a fun show and will be ready to go for the guests tonight live on the Feuerstein’s Fire American Soccer Show.
