“Super Murillo Bros.” - RBNY predicted XI: vs Orlando City SC, MLS 2017, Match 23

Can the Red Bulls rebound from a rough week against a revamped Orlando City side?

MLS: New York Red Bulls at New York City FC Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

After a near-perfect month of July, the month of August could hardly have started poorer for the Red Bulls. Not only did the team lose a lead to NYC FC in a crucial derby match, they also lost Daniel Royer for the foreseeable future to an injury. Three days later, the San Jose Earthquakes fell to Sporting Kansas City in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Semi-Finals which means that the winner of the Red Bulls' road game against FC Cincinnati next week will have to travel to KC for the Open Cup Final.

Add in the team's relative lack of movement in the final days of the MLS Summer transfer window and it's easy to say that things have not gone well for the team.

Regardless, the Red Bulls have a match to play against Orlando City SC this Saturday night and can't afford to have their minds anywhere but on the task at hand.

Orlando City bolstered their ranks by adding star forward Dom Dwyer, along with Yoshimar Yotun and midfielder Dillon Powers. It remains to be seen what kind of impact those three will have on Orlando City down the stretch, but if their strong backgrounds are any indication, they could be trouble.

Here is the RBNY predicted XI vs Orlando City SC:

GK Luis Robles

DF Kemar Lawrence - Aaron Long - Aurelien Collin - Conner Lade

DM Tyler Adams - Felipe

AM Sean Davis - Sacha Kljestan - Alex Muyl

FW Bradley Wright-Phillips

Of the 12 games the Red Bulls still have to play this season, nine of them are against Eastern Conference foes, and the majority of those will be against playoff contending teams.

For the Red Bulls to secure their spot in the 2017 playoffs, they need to take advantage of as many Conference home games as possible and do whatever it takes to get the three points.
