Feuerstein’s Fire on Once a Metro

Thank you everyone for enjoying these shows here on Once a Metro as I share the best American Soccer Show on the internet. I discussed the Jay Heaps sacking with fellow SB Nation writer Jake Catanese from the Bent Musket.

Also discussing the 2018 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Qualifying Round 2 Draw results. Local NY sides from Queens NY Pancyprian Freedoms hosting the Yonkers side in Lansdowne Bhoys and that match will be played at Belson Stadium on the campus of St. John’s University.

2nd Division segment recapping the last weekend of games and setting up with the next weekend of games in both the North American Soccer League, as well as the United Soccer Leagues. The Red Bulls league loss against the Columbus Crew at Maphre Stadium.

Of course I take a shot at NYCFC as they became Hartford City FC hosting a match against the Houston Dynamo. As you know they were forced to move out of Yankee Stadium due to a make up game that was rained out against the Kansas City Royals.

But I give a shout out to the Allison Partner P.R. firm that set up the Danone Nations Cup youth tournament that allows boys and girls between the ages of 10 & 12 to perform from all over the world who qualify for this tournament.

the Danone company or as we call it Dannon here in the states, used the Red Bulls training facility and Red Bull Arena to perform group stage matches and the championship final in Harrison, NJ.
