The Red Bulls flew back down to Texaa to see what they can do against FC Dallas who has been going the wrong way on results, but sadly what looked to be an advantage with the amount of players on the pitch became a disadvantage that ended in a two all draw.

The numerical advantage came as Jacori Hayes was booked twice and then ejected for two hard challenges both suffered by Connor Lade.

In the 29th minute Hayes was booked for a hard challenge and stepping on Lade's left foot, then gave another hard challenge on Lade in the 37th minute that results in referee Kevin Stott showing the second yellow and then a Red Card.

That's where the Red Bulls took advantage six minutes later as Alex Muyl made a hard pass to Bradley Wright-Phillips who redirected the ball to Captain Sacha Kljestan.

When Kljestan received the ball he made a cut on one defender and got into great position to take a shot on frame and beat Jesse Gonzalez for the lead just before halftime.

But coming back from the break to start the second half, that's where things went wrong in a hurry. Call it being affected by the humidity, or assuming the game was over before the second forty-five got started.

Poor defending caused them to lose their concentration, poor passing and poor touches lead to this match going south. Hernan Grana who hustled from his backline and got into position to take a Michael Barrios pass, ripped a shot that beat Luis Robles in the 54th minute.

But it looked like the Red Bulls might have learned their lesson as they got a free kick two minutes later. Sacha Kljestan floated the free kick towards Aaron Long who headed the ball over Gonzalez and inside the net for his first career MLS goal.

Sadly they didn't learn their lessons and continued to play poorly with bad passes that lead to a penalty for FC Dallas as Lade fouls Michael Barrios in the area.

Mauro Diaz took the spot kick in the 75th minute and converted it to tie the game at two a piece.

Two times it looked like FC Dallas was going to steal the victory and both times the Red Bulls saved themselves. Luia Robles came up big i side second half stoppage time as he made a big diving save to his left.

After he conceded the corner Robles was called apon to make another big save, but the rebound was shot off the crossbar, then he got fouled which blew the play dead.

There was a save earlier in the second half from an unusual player when the Red Bulls were leading by one as Bradley Wright-Phillips ran to the far post and found a way to head the ball away from goal.

Sadly the yellow card that Sean Davis earned will now have him suspended on yellow card accumulation for their road trip to Chicago.

While they were without Michael Murillo, Fidel Escobar & Kemar Lawrence due to internatiinal duty, it's no excuse not to play the way they did in that second half and allow a ten men FC Dallas to convert twice or get a chance from the spot.

Time to get back to the training ground and fix this situation. While you would normally take a draw on the road, this should've been a three point win.
