Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams will get another opportunity to prove he deserves to be a permanent fixture on the U.S. Men’s National Team.
On Monday, US Soccer announced the 30-man roster for this year’s January training camp - a roster which included Adams. It is a largely inexperienced squad with 28 players coming from MLS, half of whom have never been capped and ten of whom are receiving their first call-up.
Despite the many newcomers, Adams still remains among the youngest in the squad and won’t even celebrate his 19th birthday until February 14th.
The Red Bulls midfielder, who is projected to be a Day-1 starter for the Red Bulls in 2018, earned his first cap for the team in a November 14 friendly against Portugal.

Luis Robles, who had earned invitations and caps at each of the last two January camps, did not get an invitation this year.
Aaron Long, who made his debut as a full-time starter in 2018 after transferring from NYRBII, was also speculated to get an invitation.
