Cuba gave Honduras a scare in the last round of Group C games, ultimately slipping to a 3-1 loss but holding its own against the group favorite for much of the match. As such, Cuba is expected to win this game against Antigua and Barbuda, and all but clinch second place in the group.
Antigua and Barbuda lost to Dominican Republic in the last round of games, damaging the perception that the Benna Boys might be the surprise package in Group C. They can restore that reputation with a strong performance against Cuba.
Cuba’s Rolando Oviendo and Antigua’s Zayn Hakeem each have three goals in the tournament to date. Both are longshots for the Golden Boot, but a goal or two for either of them in this game would at least keep them in the conversation until the end of the Group Stage at least.
