New York Red Bulls II were able to snatch a draw against LA Galaxy II on Sunday.
Manager John Wolyniec made two chances to the side that defeated Tampa Bay Rowdies last weekend. Evan Louro started in goal, while the back four had one change to it as Jordan Scarlett replaced Hassan Ndam. Niko de Vera, Fidel Escobar and Ethan Kutler all retained their spots. Cristian Cásseres and Andrew Tinari started in the holding midfield positions once again as well. Jose Aguinaga started in the “10” role once again fresh off his goal of the week. There was one change as Brian White flanked Aguinaga to his right while Carlos Rivas retained his spot on the left. Stefano Bonomo was the lone striker.

Neither team had many great chances in the first 30 minutes, but NYRB II were struggling to connect their passes together, while LA Galaxy II were able to carve out some decent chances.
LA Galaxy II’s pressure eventually paid off and they opened the scoring. After some nice work from Ethan Zubak the striker was able to find Ulysses Llanez whose shot found the top corner to give LA II the lead.

NYRB II would make LA Galaxy II pay for their missed chances when they equalized three minutes later. Bonomo’s flicked on header found Moreno, who raced through on goal and beat Vom Steeg to even the score at 1.
