With just days to go before the close of the MLS transfer window, the Red Bulls now find themselves with a lot more options.

Though his future with the Red Bulls beyond 2018 remains murky, LB Kemar Lawrence appears primed to make the United States of America his permanent home.

On Saturday morning, the Red Bulls announced that Lawrence has received his U.S. Green Card and has been removed from the team’s international roster list - freeing up a slot for another international player.

Though the Red Bulls didn’t announce it, the Red Bulls’ official roster page on MLSsoccer lists midfielder Cristian Casseres as occupying the slot now and no longer being on loan to NYRBII.

On a sadder note, the Red Bulls also decided to place RB Kyle Duncan on season-ending injured reserve, marking an abrupt end to a season that began with so much promise for the 20-year-old Brooklyn native.

The move will free up a roster spot for the Red Bulls to pick up some more reinforcements with the impending absences of Michael Murillo and Fidel Escobar for the World Cup this summer.
