Amando Moreno named to starting XI for 2018 USL Team of Week for Week 3, Evan Louro named to bench

For the first time this year New York Red Bulls II had two players make a 2018 USL Team of the Week. Amando Moreno scored two goals within five minutes and completed 80% of his passes, while Evan Louro made 9 saves in New York Red Bulls II’s 5-2 win against Charleston Battery on Saturday. Moreno’s performance earned him a spot in the starting eleven for the USL Team of the Week for Week 3 while Louro made the bench.

It was the second time a NYRB II player had been selected to a USL TOTW this year, Andrew Tinari made the TOTW for Week 1 when he scored two goals against Toronto FC II. For Moreno and Louro it was the first time in their careers that they earned TOTW honors.

NYRB II will look to earn their first road win of the season when they travel to take on Richmond Kickers. The game will take place on Saturday, April 7, at 5:00 pm.
