The New York Red Bulls are about to take another journey in their pre-season plans, as they get ready to pack up their gear and have a chance at facing more MLS competition in the annual Visit Tucson Sun Cup pre-season tournament.
The club will spend the rest of February trying out some new players, while others are getting ready to take on a full schedule for the 2020 season. For the last two seasons, the Red Bulls senior side has always left in the middle of the tournament to play in the CONCACAF Champions League, but this time around they will be playing all three matches as they didn’t qualify.
On Wednesday, February 12th they will have a closed session against Phoenix Rising FC of the USL Championship League, then three matches against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, February 15th, Houston Dynamo on Wednesday, February 19th, finally Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, September 22nd, as all matches will be streamed on the Red Bulls website.
The final tuneups before the season begin on Sunday, March 1st as the Red Bulls host FC Cincinnati at the Red Bull Arena at 1PM
