Florida State University's Kristin Grubka became the 10th overall pick of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) draft as the Sky Blue FC used their second-round pick to select the midfielder/defender.
Grupka was an integral part of Florida State's national championship team in 2014. She led a backline that was one of the stingiest in the nation. The Seminoles became only the second team in NCAA history of not allow a goal in six tournament matches.
