Red Bulls: Open Cup Road Warriors

I prefer to remember the win over the Union rather than the D.C. game I've purged from memory.
I prefer to remember the win over the Union rather than the D.C. game I've purged from memory.

For their third round match-up against the Charleston Battery, the Red Bulls had to travel to South Carolina and brave an incoming tropical storm to pull out a 3-0 win.

Tuesday, the Red Bulls will travel to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's capital city, Harrisburg, for their fourth round match-up against the Harrisburg City Islanders.

And should they be so lucky to win that game, they'll have to hit the road again for a rivalry match-up against either the Philadelphia Union or D.C. United June 26.

For those of you keeping score at home, if the Red Bulls advance, they'll have to travel to either D.C. and, avoid tetanus, or Chester, Pa., and avoid bullets, for the second time this season. When all is said and done, they'll have played three away games against one of their rivals.

That is, again, if they advance. Last time they faced the City Islanders was 2010, and they lost 1-0 in extra time.
