Matthew Olosunde, an 18-year-old fullback out of Trenton, NJ, has signed for Manchester United of the English Premier League. Prior to joining ManU, Olosunde was one of the most promising prospect for both the New York Red Bulls and US Soccer.

The Daily Mail first reported the Red Devils' interest in the young American back in December, however, no move appeared in the coming months and in February Olosunde appeared to commit to playing college soccer at Duke University. Now, having recently turned 18, Olosunde was able to complete his move to the English soccer powerhouse, where he will feature for the club's U18 team according to the club's website.

Olosunde played multiple years for the New York Red Bulls' academy, featuring for the club's U16 and U18 teams. In 2015, Olosunde was called into US Soccer's Residency Program based in Bradenton, Florida, along with fellow RBNY Academy player Tyler Adams, and was a key piece in US Soccer's U17 World Cup team.

A defender by trade, Olosunde plays mainly as a right back, where his speed acts as his greatest asset. For a more in-depth preview on Olosunde check out Once a Metro's scouting report on him.
