Report: Damien Perrinelle out for four to six weeks

More bad news for RBNY.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Red Bulls returned from LA hoping for the best, but were greeted on arriving home with mostly bad news from the team's medical staff.

Connor Lade has joined Gideon Baah on the team's season-ending injury list. He'll be lucky to be back for the 2017 pre-season.

And Damien Perrinelle - only recently returned from a long-term injury - is out for four to six weeks, as reported by Big Apple Soccer.  Perrinelle's brother, Pascal, Tweeted on an image, and some stern words for Alexi Lalas:

Perrinelle will hopefully be back by the end of September. In the meantime, RBNY must decide whether two fit, full-time center backs (Aurelien Collin and Ronald Zubar) and one utility player capable of filling in at the position (Chris Duvall) is sufficient to get through the time Perrinelle will require to recover from his injury.

Ali Curtis might be heading into the transfer market again shortly.
