On the heels of the Red Bull Rant live 200th episode, how did the New York Red Bulls celebrate? With a 3-3 draw which included a blown 2 goal lead! It really is impressive how thoughtful the players and coaching staff are. They obviously don’t want us to gush over a win, they really want us to live up to the “Rant” part of our name.
I mean really, 6 draws in their last 12 games came from dropping two goal leads. They really must want us to talk about it right? At this point, we can’t imagine any other reason than to give us something to talk about. There seems to be no other logical explanation. It’s either that or they really just don’t care about the Supporters’ Shield and want to make things interesting for fans down the stretch.
With a home match against a Montreal Impact team looking to keep their playoff spot, can the Red Bulls turn around the trend of dropping points?
