To start with the good news: New York Red Bulls broadcasting legend Ernesto Motta is back for another season of match-day commentary in Spanish.
#RBNY Comfirmed today that #RedBullsRadio Español return this Saturday! A total of 25 games will be on the air. I see you Sat 3:35pm at RBA!

And that also means Mr. Motta is back in attendance at RBNY training as he does his research for his next broadcast.

And it Ernesto Motta who is to be thanked for an update on Gonzalo Veron's condition. The Argentine forward was forced off the field with a hamstring injury in the opening minutes of RBNY's CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Vancouver Whitecaps. Past experience has taught Red Bulls fans that when Veron goes down he can be out for some time. He missed the team's MLS season-opener against Atlanta United, and Motta reports Veron will miss the RBNY 2017 MLS home-opener against Colorado Rapids.
Hoy en la práctica de #RBNY vi muy buen ánimo y esfuerzo colectivo. Veron sigue en observación y no estará frente a #Colorado este sábado.

Better news, however: it seems Veron's status is more week-to-week than long-spell-on-the-sidelines.
@Jerzyiroc Not that bad

RBNY has yet to offer an official report on Veron's condition, beyond the news he'd be receiving fresh care and attention once the team returned from its road trips to Vancouver and Atlanta. But it would appear there is cause to be optimistic he will be back in full training sooner rather than later.
