One point from two home games isn't great; one point from the last four games is even worse: the New York Red Bulls could use a boost in form.
But their opponent for Week 13 of MLS 2017 - New England Revolution - doesn't look in any sort of mood to be pushed around: the Revs have won their last two games, and have only lost one of their last six league matches. But they've also played four of those six games - including the recent wins - at home. On the road to date in 2017, the Revs are winless.
RBNY, of course, has made an unfortunate habit of giving lackluster teams confidence so far this season. The Red Bulls allowed struggling Real Salt Lake to exit Red Bull Arena with a clean sheet and a point, gave Philadelphia Union its first league win of 2017, and charitably let LA Galaxy have a two-goal start (and a 3-1 win) on its visit to RBA. So perhaps the Revs' away form ought not to be given too much attention: RBNY might notice and feel it should do them a favor too.
