If you’re looking for some RBNY-adjacent soccer on a Friday evening, consider giving some part of your attention to Bermuda’s Gombey Warriors and their CONCACAF Nations League qualifier against El Salvador.

The connection to New York Red Bulls should be provided by Zeiko Lewis, hero of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
Lewis is no longer attached to RBNY, but he still keeps an eye on the team that gave him his start in pro soccer. Why not return the favor?
Get in there 1-0 @NewYorkRedBulls... come on lads #NYisRED

Bermuda is not the favorite in this game, but both teams know that home advantage can prove surprisingly significant. El Salvador’s last road trip in CONCACAF Nations League Qualifying was to Montserrat - and it took a stoppage-time goal for the Salvadorans to get out of that game with the three points they’d been expected to claim easily. Bermuda lost its first game of CNL Qualifying on the road in Aruba.
So there’s a chance this game will provide an upset, and an even better likelihood it’ll provide a chance to see how Zeiko Lewis is doing.
