This game will have no bearing at all on the outcome of the 2018 CONCACAF Men’s U-20 Championship. Guadeloupe and Martinique are not in the running to win their group. Even if they were, it would be of little consequence: as non-FIFA members (Guadeloupe and Martinique are part of France; they compete in CONCACAF competitions but are not allowed to participate in FIFA tournaments), neither is permitted to advance beyond the group stage.
Still, if your midday schedule permits a little CONCACAF U-20 soccer: both these teams have been competitive in Group C and should give each other a worthwhile game. Whether Thierry Henry (whose parents hail from both Guadeloupe and Martinique) will be watching is unconfirmed.
