How to watch USA vs Suriname in the 2018 CONCACAF Men’s U-20 Championship: start time, TV schedule, and live stream

The USA looks to finish off the group stage with a perfect record; Suriname will hope to spoil that ambition.

Technically, this is the game that decides which team wins Group A and moves on in the 2018 CONCACAF Men’s U-20 Championship. Technically, Suriname could beat the USA and grab top spot in the group. More realistically, the USA has Group A wrapped up and doesn’t need to win this game: were Suriname to win, it would need to win big (by nine goals) to leapfrog the young Americans on goal difference. Suriname certainly could surprise a complacent US team, but an absolute thrashing seems highly improbable.

So US fans should not fret too much about the outcome of this one: win, lose or draw against Suriname, the US U-20 MNT should be in the next round of this tournament.

For Suriname, a draw would clinch second place in the group. Puerto Rico or Trinidad and Tobago could sneak in to grab the runner-up spot in Group A, if Suriname coughs up its current substantial goal difference advantage over both those teams - so the USA should find their opponent motivated to keep the game close, at the very least.
