Cuba still has a shot at making the next round of the 2018 CONCACAF Men’s U-20 Championship. It’s a shot that requires something like winning this game by 16 goals and Honduras losing its final game of the group stage to Antigua and Barbuda - but it’s still a shot.
Sint Maarten has yet to win a game in this tournament and has conceded 34 goals in four straight losses - which is to say that if Cuba had to choose an opponent against whom it might score 16 goals, it would probably ask for Sint Maarten.
More likely, Cuba wraps up a comfortable win and heads home with a satisfactory second-place in Group C having lost just one game - to Honduras, a team that looks a lot like it will be among the four CONCACAF representatives at the next U-20 World Cup.
