The New York Red Bulls could be without the services of CB Fidel Escobar for Saturday’s match at Orlando City SC after the Panamanian defender suffered a thigh injury during training with the Panama national team this past weekend.

Escobar has already been declared OUT for Panama’s friendly on Tuesday with Switzerland, which means he will probably not be match fit for Saturday.

USMNT interim head coach Dave Sarachan has spoken glowingly about Tyler Adams while the Red Bulls midfielder trains with the Stars & Stripes for an upcoming friendly against Paraguay.
Specifically, Sarachan noted during his most recent presser that Adams has been training in a central midfield role and could very-well start in that position for the team if his projected starter, Schalke 04’s Weston McKinnie, can’t play due to a nagging injury.
Sarachan added that during training Tyler Adams has been playing in more central positions, so if McKennie can't go Adams could take up his slot in the center of midfield. #usmnt

Adams has been capped in each of the last two friendlies.
