Another big save from Luis Robles helped the New York Red Bulls cling on to a 2-1 lead for three points against Columbus Crew in Week 31. And that save has garnered Robles another MLS Save of the Week nomination. Vote for him!
The save looks like Robles simply covered is near post, but the replays show he was actually positioned relatively centrally in goal. Federico Higuain fired in a smart, crisp shot at an area of goal the 'keeper didn't necessarily have covered - and Robles got across to make it look (almost) easy.
There is competition, including Crew 'keeper Steve Clark's denial of Bradley Wright-Phillips. So two of this week's nominees are saves that occurred in Red Bull Arena - but only one was executed by a New York Red Bull. Vote Robles!
