Bulls Abroad: Ouimette, Canada Win; Lawrence, Jamaica Lose World Cup Qualifying Matches

No. They didn't play each other.

Canada 3 - 0 Belize

The Canadian national team easily defeated Belize 3-0 in front of their home crowd at BMO Field in Toronto.  A brace was scored by Tosaint Ricketts, then followed by a stoppage time "nail in the coffin" by Atiba Hutchinson.  Ricketts' first goal was in the 25th minute and Canada never looked back.  New York Red Bulls defenseman did not see any playing time in this first leg.  Maybe with the large lead, he'll get some playing time in the second leg on Tuesday.

Jamaica 2 - 3 Nicaragua

Yes.  That scoreline is not backwards.  The team the defeated the US in the Gold Cup semis lost.  3-2.  To Nicaragua.  At home.  Nicaragua jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the 48th minute, but it was too little too late for Jamaica.

This is NOT good for the Reggae Boyz who could be eliminated two rounds before the Hex to the 139th ranked team in the latest FIFA rankings.  Winfried Schafer looked like a genius against the US.  He now looks like a goat.  They are going to have to come out flying on Tuesday in the away leg in order to catch up on the aggregate and potentially away goals.  Kemar Lawrence played all 90 minutes.
