Jurgen Klinsmann finally announced his roster for the United States' September friendlies against Peru and Brazil. Klinsmann's veteran squad contains few surprises, although the several regulars are out due to injury.

Fabian Johnson, DaMarcus Beasley, Kyle Beckerman, Nick Rimando and Timothy Chandler were all left out of the squad due to injuries. Chandler suffered a torn meniscus on Saturday and will be out for the foreseeable future.

GOALKEEPERS: Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton), William Yarbrough (Club Leon)

DEFENDERS: Ventura Alvarado (Club America), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Greg Garza (Atlas), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Michael Orozco (Club Tijuana), Tim Ream (Fulham)

MIDFIELDERS: Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Joe Corona (Veracruz), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Jermaine Jones (New England Revolution), Alfredo Morales (FC Ingolstadt), Danny Williams (Reading), DeAndre Yedlin (Tottenham Hotspur)

FORWARDS: Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), Aron Johannsson (Werder Bremen), Bobby Wood (Union Berlin), Andrew Wooten (SV Sandhausen), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)

Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley, and Sean Johnson will miss the September 4th friendly against Peru, but will join the squad ahead of the match against Brazil on the 8th. Johnson will replace William Yarbrough for the match against Brazil.

Peru and Brazil will provide stern tests for a squad that is focused on preparing for its Confederations Cup playoff match against Mexico.
